Έσσιακ (Essiac)

Έσσιακ (Essiac) is a herbal tincture in vegetable glycerin based on the traditional Essiac formula — a blend of herbs originally popularized in the 1920s by Canadian nurse Rene Caisse. 

The Essiac herbal combination typically includes burdock root (Arctium lappa), slippery elm bark (Ulmus fulva), sheep sorrel (Rumex acetosella), and Indian rhubarb root (Rheum palmatum). 

This blend has historically been used as a detoxifying and immune-supportive herbal remedy believed to help cleanse the liver, lymphatic system, and whole body — though scientific evidence for specific health claims is limited and based more on traditional use and anecdotal reports.
